Jeanne Muchnick
Jeanne Muchnick is a freelance journalist and the former editor of BaBY Magazine and BaBY Magazine’s Infant Care Guide, two publications aimed at helping new moms deal with the physical and emotional aspects of parenthood.
Muchnick also served as an editor at Good Housekeeping and Travel Agent Magazine and was for seven years the travel editor at Woman’s World Magazine. She has appeared on a variety of segments for CNBC’s Parent’s Helper. Other TV credits include Steals and Deals, News 12 Westchester and Good Day New York Sunday.
Muchnick has published hundreds of travel, parenting and lifestyle articles for various national and local publications, including The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Woman’s Day, Ladies’ Home Journal, Parents, Parenting, Child, Pregnancy, Sesame Street Parents, Healthy Kids, Family Life, ShapeFit Pregnancy, Women’s Health & Fitness, DisneyFamily.com, FamilyTravelTimes.com, Westchester Magazine, Long Island Parents & Child, In Town Magazine, Rockland Magazine, Endless Vacation and For Me.
She has also been a contributor to several travel books including The Rough Guide series and The Birnbaum guidebooks. She is the mom of two daughters, and is married to a Manhattan-born husband who doesn’t always understand the trials and travails of suburbia.
