How to Do It
Select a new sock with a pretty color or pattern. Help your daughter cut off the top, so she’s left with a piece measuring five to six inches from the toe.
Fold over the top edge to hem and stitch the perimeter with a plastic needle threaded with ribbon.
Make a handle by running ribbon from one side of the tote to the other and tying a knot at each end to secure.
Add a drawstring by loosely stitching a long piece of ribbon around the opening, about a half-inch from the top.
For extra flair, glue charms to the ends of the drawstring. Let dry. Now her tote is ready to hit the town!
